Dark City is another good movie. It maybe the most accurate of the Matrix type films.
In the film Dark City is actually reconstructed every night and the inhabitants don’t notice the change. I’ve seen plenty of sudden changes over the last few years with shops suddenly changing and buildings appearing out of the blue without any sign of human involvement. So either it’s my reality that is shifting ie it’s me that’s shifting or the external reality. I’m not sure which. Or Mr 2 Of Everything and different quantum realities.

This was the war memorial in Redhill which suddenly changed overnight. Apart from the fact that the date of the 1st World War changed from 1914-1919 when it’s always been 1914-1918 there seems to be a dual way of reading it.
It can be read as a purely straightforward reference to the wars on Earth as we understand history but also as the Two World wars. Maybe wars between two planets or dimensions. One of the things I’ve wondered about are our films and books a collective subconscious memory deep down in the psyche ?
